So...how did you do on assessing and reclaiming your time? Personally, I discovered I have WAY too many pointless conversations with people: I don't even like talking on the phone (and never did); lately I've been getting "Hey, are you busy?" and KNOWING that I'm busy I'll take a call anyway and will be on the phone trying to solve problems for people that they don't really wanna solve! Something else I've learned is that I have to make people respect my time. Whew...it's been interesting, to say the least.
Well, this week, let's take a moment to chat about something that can really make a difference for those of us who own or are launching businesses—intentionality in raising diversified capital. One great way to get started is with grants. When it comes to applying for grants, having a clear and purposeful approach can really set you apart; think of it as crafting a roadmap for your business goals. By taking the time to research available grants, tailoring your applications to match what funders are looking for and highlighting what makes your business unique, you can significantly increase your chances of success. For many women entrepreneurs, navigating the funding landscape can feel daunting, but being intentional about our strategies can help us overcome those hurdles. It’s all about showcasing our strengths and the incredible value we bring to the table.
If you've never applied for a business grant before, here are some easy ones to get your feet wet.

What you see above is a small sample of the grants that are available every year. As we're aligning ourselves to prepare for 2025 and practicing intentionality in every area, we'll plan out how we're going to fund our enterprises and our social impact.
We deserve to go after every financial resource that helps us do what we're called to do, to have what belongs to us!
